To see in Colmar...

The Unterlinden Museum
This museum is located in the ancient dominican convent with its church. It's the most visited provincial musuem. It holds an archeological collection and a rich Middle-Age and Renaissance painting collection.

Dominican Place
The Dominican Church is located on this place.
The Church is typical regarding the "beggers" holy orders, austere, and without bell tower.

The Ko•fhus (ancient custom house)
It's the old custom house which was the
administrative and economical headquarter. The first building was built in 1480. The second one is from the XVI century and houses a very nice Renaissance stair.

The Cathedral
In fact, it's a Collegiale, dedicated to Saint Martin. It was built in his current form between the XIII and the XIV century with yellow sandstone from Rouffach.

The little Venice
Go back in earlier centuries by using the flat boats on the Lauch to visit this beautiful listed site which looks like a city on the water. Its name has nothing to do with coincidence, although it appears more to be an alsacian Bruges which shows a chain of houses beautifully restaured and built between 1350 and 1609, but also during the XVIII century.
